29 Oct 2025Beautifully organised, very convenient to station with super modern facilities. Temperature seemed a bit warmer in the big line of pods and cooler at the other end of the building - so a little too warm for sleeping.
Also be aware the lockers are not big enough for large suitcases so they tend to get left in one corner

30 May 2026This was my first capsule hotel stay, and STATION INN THE URASHIMA in Onomichi exceeded my expectations.
The location is excellent, right next to JR Onomichi Station, close to the port terminal for island trips, with plenty of dining options nearby and a large Lawson within walking distance.
The hotel is on the second floor, with both an escalator and lift, making access easy even with luggage.
Facilities are very clean and well maintained. Showers are hot and tidy, and complimentary toiletries are provided, along with robes and slippers. The capsule itself is more spacious than expected, with a fan, lighting, and charging ports.
There is a shared dining area with free tea and coffee, plus vending machines with drinks.
Lockers are not large enough for even small suitcases, but luggage can be safely left near the capsule area.
Do note that facilities are closed for cleaning between 10am–3pm, and there can be some noise at night depending on occupancy.
Overall, a very positive first capsule hotel experience. Clean, comfortable, and a great base for exploring Onomichi and nearby islands.

Fan in unit did nothing, temperature was too warm to be comfortable. Usual snore-a-thon on the men’s side. They could have spaced guests out better rather than concentrating in same area. Ran out of towels by 8:00 am

13 Jul 2025とにかく尾道駅のすぐ隣だから便利。新しいこともあり、座って使用できるシャワー室もキレイで良かった。チェックイン前でも、トランク等の大型荷物を預かってくれたから、早い時間から観光も楽でした。
コーヒーやお茶も２４時間飲み放題だし、共用冷蔵庫も備え付けの付箋に名前を書いて貼って冷蔵できました。 次回、尾道に行くなら又必ず泊まるつもりです。
