I was really impressed with the size of the rooms we had, not sure if we were upgraded? But the room was huge with a separate living area in which the children’s camp beds were placed. It had two toilets and two shower rooms which was fab. Cleaners did a wonderful job and put the children’s teddies in their pillows which was such a nice touch.
Buffet food - was poor in my opinion. Very much the same thing every day, pasta, pizza, chips and not enough variety. Wine served on the all inclusive was very good though. Normally when it’s all inclusive it tastes like vinegar, but this was a very nice Portuguese wine. They also serve other branded alcohol and nice Portuguese beers.
The only problem being, whenever we went to get a drink at the bar in the evening or at the pool bar, you had to wait a minimum of 20 mins (day time) and up to half an hour in the evening, as they only ever had one person serving at the bar at a time.
Note on the pools - kids pool was fab with the pirate ship in it, which my kids loved. But the tile floor in the pool was rough and sharp and both my children cut/grazed their knees in it.
Also all of the pools were really murky looking which we only noticed on the second day.
We stayed here for x3 nights after staying at Vidamar resort for x7 days and you could definitely notice the drop in quality/service.
Overall very disappointed with the stay and wish we had stayed on at Vidamar
