This hotel says it is 4 star hotel. I would definitely not agree. The location is beautiful nature area near the water but the property is in serious need of attention. The immense amount of cobwebs in the pergola covered walking areas and dead vegetation in the gardens was frankly depressing and creepy. The carpet was in need of replacement 20 years ago easily. No A/C in Denmark is normal but what I don't understand is, if you KNOW everyone will have to open the windows, why wouldn't they have screens so you don't have flies/mosquitos etc. in your room and bathroom? And, since a hotel room doesn't allow for cross breeze, a simple fan would be nice. Bed was not the worst I slept on in Denmark (that award goes to the high priced hotel in Copenhagen) but still way too firm (aka like sleeping on the floor). For the price, I expected much more.

Beautiful setting, simple facilities
The Comwell Klarskovgaard as a hotel is in a very beautiful setting, just a short walk to the beach amid woods and open fields. But it is lacking in any storage space for clothing except for a few hangers for shirts: no hangers for pants, no drawers or shelves. This may be a modern trend in hotels, but it does not serve its guests well. Another guest arrived at a time when no one was available to greet her at reception. The hotel had sent her an email indicating the limited times available for checking in, but the email was only sent on the day of arrival. There was absolutely no staff available on the premises to provide assistance. This is unacceptable. Every hotel should have some staff available on site at all times in case of emergency.

Has its limitations.
Nice clean hotel with fabulous staff. Rooms small but adequate. The only down side is the restaurant which is limited to only one choice of starter, main and desert. Therefore if you are vegetarian you may go hungry. There is nothing around the hotel which makes dining more challenging. The hotel is geared towards conferencing hence the menu limitations. I would stay here again for one or two nights.

Hotellet bærer præg af at være op i årerne. Men egentlig fint nok, 60er stilen er i hvert fald bevaret på værelserne. Men aldrig har jeg oplevet så koldt et værelse. Der var 2 radiatorer på selve værelset, men de var helt slukket da vi ankom. Og selvom vi skruede op for dem var det svært at varme værelset op. I den lille forgang var der en radiator der slet ikke virkede, og på badeværelset var der ingen radiator eller anden varmekilde. Der var koldt som i virkelig koldt. Bad og toiletbesøg var absolut ingen fornøjelse. Morgenmad var super lækker. Jeg vil på ingen måde anbefale hotellet i vintermånederne.

Fint hotel med god morgenmad.
Hjælpsomt personale og lækker morgenmad. Lidt lydt på værelset og så hang der en meget træt skraber på badeværelser der burde have været udskiftet for længe siden. Var ikke til meget hjælp.Da jeg kom var det mørkt og kørte igen om k´morgenen da det var mørkt var der ikke meget at se desværre.
