I had an amazing stay at the golf club. The staff were really friendly, and asked how my time at the wedding I attended was. The service was great and the gammon, double eggs and chips overlooking the course topped it off. Would thoroughly recommend.

Good sized modern room with nice view over golf course. However restaurant not open expect if an event is on and bar closes very early. This is accommodation on a golf course, not really a hotel. Skeleton staff (whilst there) friendly, but they leave early, You have a number to ring a night porter. OK pub a 5 min walk up the main road on narrow path near busy A road. A short drive to town for food etc.

We had a great 1 night, stay, I would highly recommend. Staff great, room amazing with a view over the 18th green and fairway! We are not golfers but appreciated the views. Breakfast brilliant. I loved the room and how much space we had, also the big bed! We will definitely go back to explore the area. Thank you for our stay.

The room was spacious, very clean and the bed was comfortable. Lovely shower. Air con was a bonus with the heat lately. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a school prom being hosted which made leaving the grounds difficult due to the traffic and narrow road, but the staff handled the flow of cars really well. The view from the window was great of the golf course. I would definitely like to stay here again.

Room 6 - The room was clean and well appointed, as was the lovely shower room, but the walls were paper thin and unfortunately, there was a couple in Room 7 who talked animatedly until 2am and then again from 7am. The sound insulation between rooms needs to be drastically improved, as we could honestly hear every word. The Superking bed was made up of 2 single beds joined together, so plenty of room but the mattresses were soft and well worn, both were dipped in the middle. The 2 tiny skylight windows looked directly at the side of the roof. Such a shame as it’s a lovely setting in otherwise quiet surroundings. I informed Reception of the sound insulation complaint and the response was that they would let the owners know.

Lovely hotel. The staff were absolutely amazing. We stayed on the hottest day in May and no air-conditioning was an issue. The staff came around with ice buckets added fans to the room and did everything they could to help. My sister is disabled and their care was outstanding. Breakfast sat outside with a view of the golf course was fantastic. Would we stay again most definitely maybe not in summer until they have air conditioning though.

Fabulous room, very modern with TV, tea, coffee and biscuits, iron and ironing board, hairdryer - in fact everything you could possibly need. Bathroom was a 'wet room' with a super shower. Breakfast was enormous with plenty of tea or coffee. All the staff were extremely helpful and couldn't do enough to assist. Well worth staying here if visiting the area.

Loved the room. Large window opening on to a balcony over looking the 18th green. Water and Tea and coffee in the room. Large walk in shower. All lovely and modern. Bar was open until17.30 and there is a pub a 10 minute walk where you can grab an evening meal. Good breakfast, great room, great value, lovely staff. When in the area we will 100% consider staying.
