Room was dirty! Cockroaches scurrying around. Bathroom trashcan had a soaking toilet roll in it. Shower filled up with water. Only thing I liked about this place was the location. Will not recommend to anyone though.

Room is pretty nice looking, but there are some flaws that are not really nice. First, the floor wasn't clean when we arrived. Next - the shelf/clothing rack had seen better days and half of the shelves are not secured to the frame (basically-broken) and will drop if you put something like a backpack on it.
But the worst was the presence of cockroaches. Its not the animal we were looking for while visiting Cape Town.

Honestly, DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE!!! Firstly, this is a student building with some units reserved as short-term rentals. from what i could tell, mostly nigerian students lviing here. There is no reception help, as with any other hotel or apartment stays I've used in the past. Got here at 2200hrs and there was only a guard at the door. They hadn't left behind a working key for me, so I was let it using a master key by the guard, meaning that I couldn't leave as i pleased. In the morning, I realised that the room I had booked was not the one that I was given. I went to the reception to get this sorted and was met by a vile building receptionist who treated me with contempt and only helped me after she saw I wasn't taking no for an answer. The lady who manages the property was given my number, but she didn't call me. Later went and got her number, so I can call her, but she didn't answer. The room itself was okay, but didn't have even shower gel or spare towels to use. there was no cleaning service for the 3 days i was there or even someone to just check in!! Honestly, would have left on the first day if its wasnt for the fact that i was only in CPT for 3 nights.
If you book this be ready for the same shocking treatment, you have been warned!!!
