Carol and Graham were so welcoming.
The room had a 'real' wardrobe and 'real' good sized chest of drawers and bedside cabinets - a welcome change from the budget chains ....
Super breakfast - cooked to order - and very well presented.
Walkable to shops (Coop and Lidl) and pubs/restaurants ( Zoya Indian is a 'class above the average).
Set between two busy commuter roads that I did not fancy attempting on my cycle. Google maps shows the road as cycle friendly. I disagree. But close to river/canal walks. Not far to many shopping centres for modern dining options.

3 Jun 2026Bridge Farm Hotel was a lovely stay overall. The setting was peaceful and the room was comfortable, making it a really easy and relaxed base for our visit.
Breakfast was included and looked excellent, with plenty of choice and everything freshly prepared, although we unfortunately had to rush off in the morning to get home. It’s definitely something we would have enjoyed more time to take advantage of.
We would happily stay again next year and make more of the facilities and breakfast properly next time.

23 Apr 2026Very warm welcome. Very clean and well equipped room. Very comfortable bed with nice clean bedding. Excellent breakfast with good choice of food.. My wife is vegetarian and this was catered for with a very helpful manner.
We would happily use this hotel again.

Room was lovely wasn’t a fan of such a large sink in the room with a small toilet shower area but understood how they have used the space the best of their ability. Sockets low behind bedside table was awkward but again usable. TV tiny but again we only slept there. This didn’t affect our stay and would defo return. Breakfast 10/10 and again staff could not have done more. Very attentive - would recommend.

28 May 2026I LOVED Carol. She was welcoming and kind, made an amazing breakfast for me, answered all my questions. A great hostess. My room (12) was super clean and the bed was comfortable. Lots of pillows and extra blankets. Nice big TV. The water pressure was really low but I think that’s typical in older buildings. The garden was peaceful and I enjoyed sitting there in the evening with a glass of wine. Great stay. Traveled from Canada.

A fantastic hotel, we stayed 2 nights, the room was spotless the bed was really comfy we had plenty of space and a lovely shower. The choice at breakfast is brilliant and the full English breakfast is delicious. The staff were really helpful and friendly too.
