The room was beautiful and comfortable. Some of the chandelier light fixtures needed a heavy dusting, but otherwise it was lovely! The staff were kind and helpful, and the grounds were beautiful, I just wish at least the adults only pool was open later into the evening. Just be aware that the free shuttle to Patong is not hourly, it only runs a few times a day, but it’s only a 30 minute walk to the south end of the beach.

This hotel appears to be built in the side of a mountain/hill. When they tell you there will be golf cart to assist you around the site - that tells you everything. We werent made aware of this in the hotel's description (or we might have changed to another hotel. (My wife has had both hips replaced and hill walking has its limitations for her! Sadly there were no handrails on some stairways (which I think is poor). No handrail for getting into the swimming pool.

My sisters and I really enjoyed our stay at Avista Hideaway. The hotel was very clean and peaceful. Staff were so kind and attentive. Breakfast was delicious - a lot of options too. A great location where you can enjoy peace but drive down to Patong beach or Bangla road for some fun. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

The reception sraff did not have patience for us and just told us to wait without any time to fix or status.

The hotel was lovely and in a beautiful location. I participated in the hotel activities, which were well coordinated and fun. Beaches and restaurants were within (hot, sweaty and hilly) walking distances, a great opportunity to venture out.The room was beautiful and nicely Layed out.
