Stayed 4 nights – disappointing housekeeping and basic amenities.
The room itself was fine, but several basic service issues made the stay frustrating:
• Body wash and shampoo were never refilled, even after we opened the bottles.
• Used towels were not cleaned during our stay.
• Rubbish was not emptied regularly.
• The room phone didn’t work at all, so we had to go down to reception every time we needed anything.
• There was no bottle opener in the room, and the hotel didn’t even have one available — they suggested we borrow one from a bar in another hotel. That felt quite ridiculous.
• It was noisy in the mornings — we could clearly hear people talking outside and downstairs through the window, plus the sound of renovations.
These are fairly basic expectations for a hotel stay, and they weren’t met over four nights.
Hopefully management can improve the housekeeping, room amenities and noise control.
