12 Oct 2025We had room 224. The overall staff service was great. We got to check in early and whenever we needed more toilet paper, the staff was very nice and gave us more. The hotel room was clean. Unfortunately during the stay, there were a lot of cockroaches (ipis) and we had to kill at least 3 a day.
The location was great as it was the center of station 2. It was walking distance to the beach and many restaurants and shopping.

23 Aug 2024The two air conditioners in the room were not adequate to cool the area, we called the front desk and they sent a technician to replace one of the units. There were no window shades in the bathroom and needed to be covered with our clothes. The WiFi was weak and couldn’t be used in our room, we had to go to the lobby to use it. Breakfast was not good, precooked eggs, tasteless watermelon was the only fruit, really bad coffee and no tea selection. The second morning had a better breakfast (chicken adobo was good, bananas were the fruit selection and better coffee).

20 Aug 2025Good stay but lacking…
Hotel was nice and friendly. Staff was on top of their game 24/7. Only complaints I have is this. First: that the WiFi only reached to the lobby and was worthless on the 3rd floor. Not impressed. Second: the breakfast was crap. The “protein” offered was hotdogs, fried fish heads and menudo. Every single day. You gotta keep it fresh and different at least every other day. As an American who LOVES Filipino food, I wished we had other breakfast stuffs like tocino, longanisa, even some fried baloney wouldn’t hurt. There was some other good breakfast stuffs but the protein is the most important along with rice of course. Lastly: it seems like trying to swim in the onsite pools were a headache. They wanted you to wash off in the wash area and if you’re a guy you can’t wear a shirt. Which is wrong and not fair to men who may or may not be self conscious. These listed items need improvement and to be refined for an absolute wonderful perfect week long stay in the most beautiful and coveted island in all of the Philippines. On a plus, the air on was awesome. Kept the room nice and cool all day long.

20 Jun 2026The front desk gave us a hard time when we requested their transportation to take us to a destination. We were willing to pay the price but the lady said in the front desk that they cannot accommodate us , the driver cannot take us without approval from the front desk.

23 Dec 2021Me and my companions were expecting that the our room at La Carmela would have a hotel type of amenities. We were assigned to a top floor and and end of the bldg, and so much is lacking in the room, was it because I availed a promo rate thru Expedia? The hotel service, you have to wait for another 24 hrs to get your requested items.
Thankful to the front desk who assisted us, she was very accommodating.
