Sterling Darjeeling
"Sterling Darjeeling is a great place to stay for a trip to the area. The location is much better than anything close to the mall. You can avoid all the traffic and noise of central Darjeeling. Views of the valley and surround mountains are great. The staff is very helpful. If you’re traveling from the airport, you will get to the property much faster (hours) than any place close to the mall because of all the traffic even though it’s only a few kilometers away. I would highly recommend Sterling Darjeeling."
Planter's Heritage by Cilantro Collections - Mall Road
"The staff were great. The location was perfect and close to main Darjeeling mall. The floors in the room and multiple junctions in the lobby area are uneven which may cause discomfort and extra attention especially for elderly people."
Udaan Dekeling Resort Darjeeling
"Was not aware that the hotel doesn't offer eggs or alcohol. They should have mentioned on their website, especially for international guests."
The Elgin, Darjeeling
"Building is amazing perched on the hillside and the staff were lovely."

If you are seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and may offer better value. - Consider your location: Staying nearer to major attractions or city centres may offer convenience, but it often comes with a higher price tag. For more affordable options, consider hotels located in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and ease of access to the sites you wish to visit. You might also look into independent hotels a bit further out, which can provide a more authentic and usually more affordable experience.
