This beautiful boutique hotel is in a very quiet area and is within walking distance of Plaza de Armas. Guests can enjoy complimentary hot tea all day, and they have a very good breakfast. There are sometimes problems with the hot water, but the front desk is very responsive. Cusco is safe to walk around.

An authentic property with origins to the Incas.
Our room was small, had plenty of shelf space. An extra bed side light would have improved lighting.
The bathroom is very small & takes ages for hot water to arrive.
The room was very quiet which is one of the reasons we chose to stay here.
Breakfast has a limited range but the freshly cooked omelet was delicious.
Staff very friendly and accommodating

Airport Transfer is Misleading (no return)
Most of the stay was fantastic. Although, the included airport transfer service is misleading. If you manage to reach them (the phone, messenger, and social app contacts never responded.) They did eventually respond via email. But, they don’t provided the included airport transfer for you departure. They can call and schedule you a taxi, but when you get to the airport you find they don’t cover the return to the airport. You have to cover the taxi expenses yourself.

We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. Staff is absolutely excellent, very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is well located in the Historic Central District. The hotel is a little old but relatively well maintained. I’d recommend it.

The gentleman at the front desk helped us with EVERYTHING, from storing our bags when we went to Machupicchu, to breakfast, to late night pizza ordering.
The establishment was clean, and we felt safe. Amazing building with Incan wall base, with colonial upper. Unique and special.

Situated conveniently near city center and walking distance to most attractions. The hotel itself is a historic building.
Staff were very friendly. Rooms were clean and they did and excellent job with housekeeping.
Breakfast was quite basic but if they would help pack a bag of fruit and sandwich if there is an early tour and we would missed the regular breakfast.
Few caveats:
1. Hot water is not 24/7, and it doesn't get very hot.
2. It's an old building, the floor creeks and could hear that clearly at night time
3. Breakfast said to start at 6am, but it would take until 6:30 to be fully ready.

Interesting hotel in a historic building and at a convenient location. 10min walk to the main square. Very friendly staff. Room is spacious and mostly comfortable. A few caveats: 1) breakfast should start at 6am but not ready until 6:30. 2) hot water is not 24/7, outside of evening/morning hours need to ask staff. 3) floor creaks badly, can hear neighbors if they walk in middle of night.

Characterful hotel choice in Cuzco
Unaytambo Boutique Hotel is situated in an old colonial building based on superb quality Inca foundations. Our room was spacious and comfortable. All the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast provided a reasonable range of sweet and savoury items with cooked eggs/omelettes available on request. The hotel is close to the centre of Cuzco and there are plenty of excellent restaurants and historic attractions available within a short walk. Much more characterful than some of the chain hotels in the city.
