Great location
We can give 5 stars for the location, right on a beautiful beach. The hotel itself is in need of much renovation. The beach chairs were all cracked, the umbrellas in shred. The buffet food was average. The staff was courteous and helpful. The bedrooms were large, but a bit outdated. We found the non motorized activities overpriced. Paddle boards should be free for hotel guests and not close to $30 for 30 min. However the rooms were not too expensive and they are not many hotels right on the beach on Ishigaki.

The hotel is beautifully located, directly on the beach and is well maintained. I can definitely recommend going there. Everything was clean and staff was always friendly and helpful. The only downside was in my eyes that the pool closed early (6.00 pm).

The location was excellent, situated at the center of the bay and protected from wind and high surf. The hotel offered a few marina activities, which added to the convenience. Overall, the hotel was decent. The breakfast was reasonable. The staff were all very friendly and extra helpful. I appreciate that very much.

Totally exceeded my expectation, the room is very big and the bed is super comfortable. The balcony overseeing the beach and sunset is superb. I enjoy my stay very much .

For the price the cottage in the village was a great deal. Lots of space, an ocean view, quiet, private. The hotel is a typical “Bubble era” construction, but the location was great. The staff were helpful and had local knowledge. The package included breakfast, which was good as there were no other local options. The breakfast was OK. The western buffet options weren’t very appetizing, but the local Okinawan dishes were (but warm as opposed to hot). Highly recommend the hotel as option as a mid-price location. You will need a car as there is nothing, other than a great beach, in the area.

I highly recommend this hotel for families and couples. The staff is nice and kind . The rooms are quiet big and comfortable. The beach is so near and very good . The only weak point is the location. You need to rent a car cause out of the hotel there’s nothin.

Amazing Hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed the sea and the view from the room (6th floor). The room was very spacious and well equipped with a fridge, a kettle, and a hair dryer.

Nice property in a secluded and beautiful area. Great for a couple of days to explore the northern parts of the island. Hotel amenities are ok, pool could be nicer and larger. Hotel restaurant only food option unless you have a car.

I thought the staff were really nice and accommodating. They were all friendly and talkative. We felt very welcome.

It was nice but would of liked it better without the giant huntsman spider and nesting birds inside my room.

We really enjoyed our stay on the high floors of the Teida building. All the balconies have an amazing view of the Manta city in the Kabira ocean area. The sunsets were amazing. Breakfast was really good with a lot of variety, we were grateful it was available so early since most of the area doesn’t open until almost noon. At first I was nervous when I saw some old guest pictures from ten years ago, but the rooms in Teida have been renovated and are very new and clean. The shop was convenient and has ice cream too, and they gave us new water and towels every day for free. We really loved our stay and would come back again!

Great hotel, extremely good service, great breakfast (has multiple vegan options) and 15 min away by foot from a vegan South Indian restaurant. The staff was so kind, the cook gave us a jam recipe and the reception staff translated the recipe from Japanese to English for us. Extremely well served as well : there is a laundry room and got snorkelling tours directly on the beach. A place of reference when we come back to Ishigaki.

An incredible view from the terrace, but everything looks old and would need to be refreshed. Surprised to have to pay for the beach towels or any amusement as it is not indicated when we make the reservation.

Read well before you book it
I didn’t like the fact that we realized that beach and pool is closed after 6:00 pm. Also the restaurants and services of the hotel close very early and in that area there’s nothing else.

The view was excellent from the 7th floor Teeda Tower. Our double room was enormous compared to any other hotel we’ve stayed at in Japan. I love how they offer fresh drinks and towels daily. The onsite onsen was a nice feature. I didn’t love the restaurant, the old-times CFL lighting or the fact that having our room cleaned was going to cost extra.

I absolutely loved our time at Ishigaki Seaside hotel! We booked a cottage with the jetted tub and it was so lovely! I loved being away from others, it was quiet and private. The staff were SO kind and I honestly had tears of joy when we left. We were there for our honeymoon and they gave us welcome drinks and a beautiful handmade picture frame with our photo in it. The sunsets and settings were stunning. I loved looking for all the hermit crabs. I spend most days scuba diving but loved unwinding in the cottage. Would love to visit again someday! Thank you!

Fair hotel, good location for Manta diving
We liked the big rooms and the nice beach. Overall the hotel feels a bit old. The location is quite isolated, if you want to go to a different restaurant it‘s better to have a car (bus only every 2 hours, last one pretty early, bike rent only during day) as its around a 20-25min walk to Kabira. However it was excellent location to go diving at Manta point. Service in the restaurant is very good, on beach there is no service and they charge small to rent beach towels (a bit unnecessary). There was also no room cleaning, they would have charged extra for it. Fair hotel to stay for a few nights, it would have a lot more potential.

Flott hotell
Men lite vegansk/allergivennlig mat. Caféen i første etasje derimot lagde vegansk smoothie og toast utenfor menyen så der var det veldig god service! Hotellet ligger langt unna det meste på øya, så leiebil anbefales.
