Great for overnight

Member of staff was lovely when we checked in, just what we needed after a long drive from Glasgow. We were staying for one night to get the ferry from Harwich the next morning and the hotel was perfect for our needs. Great that breakfast was included as well especially with a wee one and a long day ahead

Jochen und Aynur in M`gladbach

Ursprünglich haben wir tatsächlich in diesem Hotel eingecheckt. Der Aufzug war aber defekt, aus Krankheitsgründen kein Empfang IM Hotel. Man musste das "Nachbarhotel" für den Check in anrufen. Haben wir getan, dann kam ein Mitarbeiter des Nachbarhotels. Sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Nachdem wir den Fahrstuhldefekt bemängelt hatten, hat und der Mitarbeiter ein Zimmer im Nachbarhotel ohne Aufpreis angeboten. Dieses Angebot haben wir zum Glück genutzt, den es war wesentlich geräumiger und angenehmer (Ausstattung, Zimmergröße, Lage). Danke nochmals an den Mitarbeiter!!

Mein Aufenthalt im Hotel Freiraum hatte Vor- und Nachteile. Positiv war, dass das Zimmer sehr angenehm und ruhig war – ich habe dort wirklich gut geschlafen. Die Sauberkeit war in Ordnung, und das Badezimmer war schön und gepflegt. Allerdings gab es auch einige Probleme. Das Eingangstor war nicht gut sichtbar, und der Eingangsbereich wirkte durch zwei Stapel Orangentüten (oder Ähnliches) unordentlich. Zudem musste ich meinen Schlüssel an einem anderen Ort abholen, ohne vorher informiert zu werden. Der Aufzug war defekt, sodass ich mein großes Gepäck die Treppe hinauftragen musste. Ein weiteres Problem war die Kommunikation. An der Rezeption konnte niemand Deutsch sprechen, was in einem Hotel in Deutschland schwierig ist. Auch als ich nachts zurückkam, war zwar jemand da, aber die Verständigung war nicht möglich. Zusammenfassend: Das Zimmer selbst war wirklich gut, aber der Service und die Organisation müssen dringend verbessert werden.

Séjour d’une nuit. Accueil très moyen. Ascenseur bien présent et toujours en panne. Chambre reçue au 2ème étage. Aucun chauffage en marche et radiateur non fonctionnel. Température extérieure 2° avec neige. Retour réception et autre chambre reçue au 2ème ( le tout avec bagages et escaliers ). Chambre sans charme, entièrement blanche y compris meubles type IKEA. Un peu déçu car rien à voir avec photos sur Hotels.com. Cependant propre. Petit-déjeuner moyen

An Spieltagen der Borussia ist erst ein verspäteter Check in möglich. Wenn man dann (als Gästefan“) abends eincheckt hat dann kann dies auch zur Spannung hinzukommen. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer hat schon bessere Tage gesehen. Insgesamt könnte das Hotel ein Face-Lift vertragen. Das Frühstück und der Service sind aber erstklassig.
