26 Sept 2026Staff super welcoming, friendly and helpful. Room comfortable. Nice to have a kettle and cups in the room. Can’t comment on breakfast (was included but I left before it was being served). Plenty of parking which was well-lit. As a single female traveller I felt safe. I’d stay here again for a stopover after a long drive.

11 Aug 2026Great value stay in a pleasant dog friendly hotel. Ample off street free parking. Excellent breakfast. The staff with the exception of 1 waitress in the restaurant (after I think a busy shift) were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely use again if staying in the area.

31 Aug 2026Stayed over the bank holiday weekend. Great location for travelling around to York, Harrogate etc..
Very reasonably priced. Fantastic cooked breakfast, with fruit/cereal options. All staff were very friendly and happy to talk about anything. Ate one evening in the restaurant, food was delicious.
Room was a little tired but it didn’t impact the stay and was still very comfortable.
Overall a great stay 😁

19 Aug 2026Great place to stay, staff always polite and helpful. Rooms upgraded to good standard.
Bathrooms still need a bit of TLC - hate shower curtains that stick you, could do with a few more shower gel toiletries and tiles with holes in following upgrades to towel rails, please fill with silicone as it makes bathroom look cheap and you’re doing a dis-service.
