Stayed in a small double room as it was the only room available at the time of booking. Clean and had all you need just the bed was small for two adults. Wonderful place with fantastic views overlooking the ocean and Tintagel Castle. We had afternoon tea and it was amazing seating by the window overlooking the Castle. I recommend this hotel for a unique experience just book in advance as it’s popular place to stay. There are nice pubs and cafes in the village itself with really good food if you don’t prebook dinner and breakfast. Don’t miss out when in Tintagel

Perched at the top of of the cliffs overlooking the ocean, Camelot Castle was an amazing spot with lots of history. It is the perfect spot to explore. the nearby Tintagel castle ruins. The views were spectacular. The staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was delicious. Highly recommended.

I stayed with my parents in the family room. The room was very large with a lovely 4 poster bed and 2 single beds. The view was jaw dropping. However, the bathroom was quite awful at this price point - a plastic cabin plonked unceremoniously in the side of the room witha tiny shower and barely any space to maneuver, with no place to hang towels or clothes. The walls at the entrance were plastered with pictures of the owner with various right wing figures such as Nigel Farage, Donald Trump, Candace Owens etc. Not for me, but YMMV. The lady at the reception was lovely and allowed us to leave our car there after checkout whilst we were visiting Tintagel Castle.

Friendly helpful staff. The room had beautiful views with lovely walks nearby. It was dog friendly, my dog enjoyed all the attention she got from staff and other guests. The art work absolutely gorgeous, had the wow factor. The room was basic for the high price however overall experience was good.

The room was clean and comfortable. The EnSuite bathroom was very small and a little difficult to use - it was a later addition to the room, made out of plastic. The view was amazing! I did feel uncomfortable finding myself alone in the basement with one of the owners after agreeing to see the art exhibition but not realising I would be the only guest there.

When staying at the Castle, it's Camelot! The Manager, Mark genuinely cares that your stay is perfect, magical! My stay was marvelous! Be sure to dine at Irina's, you will not be disappointed! The location is perfect. I could walk to town and I went to the Castle and Caves! Doc Martin was filmed here and AA Milne stayed here! This is Tintagel's Best!

Wonderful hotel, needs to be seen to be believed. Absolutely full of lovely items you just would not think would work but they do. Very grand building and makes you smile. Four poster bed in a very large room with breath taking sea views. Only thing that let it down was the bathroom pod in room that just did not match decor or the extravagant surroundings. The staff, especially a older lady in the restaurant at breakfast who we also saw with a hoover the day before we're lovely and helpful. A young man in the bar early evening was also a credit to the hotel. We came down one morning to a young girl playing the piano whilst her parents ate breakfast which was so pleasant. You could not find a more impressive building on the cliff edge in Cornwall with a quaint little village with shops and restruants within walking distance. We, along with our spaniel cannot wait to stay again.

We had a lovely stay at the Camelot Castle Hotel, with a good sized room that was clean and comfortable. As it's a dog friendly hotel, we could hear two dogs yapping in the room next door. We also found that the room had a "wet dog" smell each time we returned to our room but were unable to air the room as we couldn't open the windows. Due to the age of the building and retrospective fitting, the bathroom is very bijou, but usable (as long as you're not too large). Fine for a weekend. Due to availability, we had a moor view room, which was lovely, but would definitely try to get a sea view room if staying again. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and the food was delicious and very well presented. Bar staff very helpful and friendly. Excellent location, a short walk to Tintagel Castle along the road to the main entrance, and we also walked back along the coastal path from Tintagel beach / Merlin's Cave after our visit to the castle.
