6/10 Good

Unfortunately our room was cold in the evening and even though we let the staff know nothing was done. Our room keys didn't work the next morning but they were quickly repaced nlby the receptionist. Hotel is showing its age but is in a great location particularly when travelling by bus. Breakfast was good - at £149 for a twin room a bit expensive but I appreciate it was the Georgian Festival weekend.

Old Hotel plenty of charm close to centre
Great sized room, excellent breakfast and lovely meals. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us during our stay. Great place to stay if you have young children or babies as they are also very well catered for. Hotel is very close to Armagh centre.

Overnight stay.
Hotel was well located, friendly and very attentive. Only negative was the room was chilly and asked for heat to be put on, did not work so they left us a blow heater. Other than that lovely food and room was very comfortable. Would stay again.

Armagh break
On entering hotel we were greated with a very warm welcome, even the fact that i called hotel to say i was a bit lost, a lovely lady came out and waved so we could see her, rooms were neat and tidy, staff very friendly and even secured a table for us for evening meal, breakfast was great, first time to stay but would stay again 5 stars from us

6/10 Good

Likes The hotel was well located in the centre of Armagh. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was free secure parking on site. The room was adequate and the bed was comfortable. Dislikes. The hotel was very rundown and it needs a lot of money spent on it. It was advertised as having a lift but it was out of order which was a pain as we were on the 2nd floor. The towels supplied in the ensuite were on the small side and there were a number of cracked tiles.

Stay here, it’s great
Lovely staff, large rooms, comfortable and clean beds, great atmosphere in a fantastic location within walking distance of all the sites. I’d happily stay there again, although the great atmosphere does mean it’s a bit dated, there are lots of stairs and the elevator wasn’t working when I was there. Food was great and lots of restaurants are close by, the breakfast will keep you going and there are vegetarian options. If you have not visited Armagh, seat of both the Catholic and Church of Ireland bishops, each with an amazing cathedral, not to mention the Armagh Observatory, it is a must visit location in beautiful Northern Ireland.
