Had a wonderful weekend in the hotel. Room was spotless and bath/ shower room first class with a huge walk in shower and large free standing roll top bath. Staff were respectful and helpful at all times. Breakfasts were excellent as were the bar meals and drinks. Lovely view from bedroom over the grounds and river. Plenty of parking and well situated in the town with excellent variety of shops.

Lovely hotel set in its own grounds. We had asked for rooms close to other family members but were on a different floor up a different staircase so well apart. We also thought we had booked rooms including breakfast but were told it was room only. The rooms were very clean and the only fault we had was the tea making facilities were on a shelf leading into the bathroom with an electric plug for the kettle immediately behind the kettle which we thought dangerous. The parking and staff were excellent.

Booked 2 riverside view rooms for myself,husband,daughter and her husband for one night.This is my 4th time staying at Ednam cause i like its peaceful atmosphere.our rooms were small this time with a few cobwebs on the ceiling..the scirting boards need cleaned to.our double bed was very clean and comfortable.the bathroom was very clean to.its still my favourite place to stay in kelso.parked no problem in car park.The breakfast was nice.

This hotel is in a great location and although a bit shabby now, was clean . The bed was not very comfortable and the bedding was compacted so somewhat heavy. Breakfast was good and tasty. Help yourself to tea or coffee but coffee not hot. Receptionist was very friendly and welcoming on arrival. We enjoyed a drink beside the river.
