A lovely stay. Very nice superior room with great views and exposed beams, Excellent staff, polite, cheerful and attentive and superb food, compliments to the chef . A few minor problems with the room ie surfaces and appliances dusty, broken blind, torn lampshade etc, could do with a small fridge to keep milk and water cool, also a little suprised that there was no door on the bathroom/toilet area, open to the bedroom. Needless to say it didn’t detract from a most enjoyable stay.

As I said it was my wife's 60th birthday booked a superior room as I said before would like to see the rooms it was superior to . We booked back in June so would of liked to be told that builders were in before our day of arrival. Chose not to eat there as couldn't sit in garden without builders working around you . The staff were pleasant. Even thou we moved at an extra £100 a night the damage was done Wife was let disappointed

A fantastic location and building, clean and containing all you would expect at this level. Staff, especially reception and cleaning staff were extremely helpful, friendly and efficient. We were a little disappointed with the room decor - a couple of stains on the bathroom and bedroom ceilings. The breakfast was also underwhelming - overcooked eggs and tomato spoiled an otherwise excellent overnight stay.

This was a stay in a lovely castle! There are ruins on the property but it adds to the charm. The grounds are maintained beautifully, our room was gorgeous, comfortable and well appointed. The staff could not be more professional, thoughtful and helpful. We had a lovely dinner and delicious breakfast in the castle’s hall. This stay has been on my bucket list for many years and Amberley castle fulfilled it perfectly!
