Hotel overall was good, it was clean, room well organized, and the location was nice, a walking distance near Reforma. However, welcome people or "hosts" are not very polite they don´t say hello when you enter, room was really small and at night near 11pm or 12 you can hear a lot of noice probably when trash truck is nearby.

I stayed at the Hotel Stella Maris over the 2023 Thanksgiving weekend and was extremely pleased with the hotel's staff, public areas, location on a delightful urban park, and its close proximity to all of the Reforma tourist sites. Its San Rafael neighborhood was particularly delightful. I was given a bedroom on the 8th floor overlooking the park and the city, and the room was super-clean and updated to a very modern look, with good linens and mattresses, plus a splendid marble bathroom. I will stay there again when I am next visiting Mexico City. It is very convenient to shopping, theaters, and good restaurants, and one can walk freely in the neighborhood without any concern for safety. My only suggestion for improvement would be to its internal restaurant - - which I understand is run by a third-party operator. It had no standard breakfast buffet, and few patrons were in evidence using the restaurant - - apparently most eating at the various mix of other restaurants in the immediate area of the hotel which seemed always to have ample clientele and more professional wait-staff.
