16 Feb 2026The staff were courteous and bed was comfortable. The motel was probably very nice 30 odd years ago however it is very tired and old now. There was rubbish under a bed and behind the fridge, there was mould around the joinery, water stains on the ceilings and down the walls from leaks.

8 Apr 2026The lift was not working, and we stayed at the second floor. The light was not working so we had to go down the stairs with our phone's flashlight. The facilities were dated but enough to use; kitchen stovetop and bathroom shower were rusted. The motel only provided 1-day supply of hair shampoo and soap, so have to use sparingly if you don't bring toiletries and are staying for more than a day. Receptionist was polite, and let us view the room before paying. Location is good, near to Rotorua's attractions + restaurants at walking distance.

4 Feb 2024No smoke alarms!! Not all lights worked. No power points in 2nd bedroom. Could hear the people above us and below us.Toilet only flushed when it wanted too. Could do with a lot of TLC..is run down so feels dirty.
Location was great, the beds were massive and the customer service was nice.

24 Feb 2024We were in room 8, and really enjoyed the beds and bathroom. The rooms are dated and show signs of wear and tear but nothing was broken or compromised.
We did book the room as there was a mineral pool available however it’s was literally boiling hot! There was no way anyone would be able to use it. When we mentioned it upon checking out they did not seem to care.
The location was great, with a short walk to down town and the lake.
The rooms are definitely not sound proof, could hear people throughout the night.

11 Jul 2026Property do not have heat pump. They provided small heaters which was not working at all. We had to leave the property as it was too cold for kids to stay without heater. We informed the staff however no help or refund. Website is also misleading, showing rooms have spa but we did not have it. I will never book again
