Mariner's Loft

Amazing location with stunning views over the Harbour, walking distance to the grocery store, restaurants and amenities. Apartments are spacious, tastefully decorated, well equipped and sparkling clean!

We stayed in one of the two-bedroom suites on the first floor, as we had our dog with us and was given a dog-friendly suite. The condo was beautiful, incredibly clean, and nicely furnished. The kitchen was very big and had everything we needed for the weekend to prep a few easy meals. We loved the king size bed (so comfortable!) and the giant porch overlooking the harbor. We could see float planes landing and taking off from our deck. There is a private gated parking lot in the back. The bathrooms are stocked with Saltspring Soap Co. shampoo, conditioner, and soap. There was a dog bed, towel, and bowels provided. It's a very easy walk to the town of Ganges too, which is great since parking can be tricky on busy weekends. The only down side was the amount of road noise from the street in front of the building. It was significant enough to notice when sitting on the deck, but not so much when inside the condo. This is a wonderful place to stay. We instantly felt relaxed and spoiled for being able to stay in such a great place. We agreed we would be back for a future visit.

Wonderful spot, great location, roomy with a great view. Only issue the master bedroom bed is super soft and sags into the middle. Time for a new mattress !

Great location and very well decorated! Unit 101 is a little close to the busy road, but the view makes up for it!

You check in yourself, which was easy and convienant. We were on the second level, which had an amazing view of the harbor from our large patio. The master bedroom is nice, the second bedroom was on the smaller size. The location was great, easy walk to everything. Love Salt Spring Island. I would stay at the Mariners Loft again, even though it was pricey.

The property is perfectly located with a wonderful deck (with bbq), nice layout and well equipped kitchen. I’d they could just put up a few hooks in the second bedroom and bathroom it would be perfect.

Beautiful views (and sunrises) out the living room window and from the large patio, perfectly walkable to Ganges main strip and all its shops and restaurants, clean and modern accommodations, incredibly comfortable beds, and full and spacious kitchen for meal making. Easy check-in, and very responsive and helpful hosts (text, email, or phone). Will definitely consider Mariner's Loft for another trip to Salt Spring Island.

Location, design, furnishings. A very comfortable suite. However, both bathrooms could use the installation of a grab bar to ensure safety and prevent falls. Soapy surfaces can be dangerous. Road noise did not bother me but could be an issue for some guests. The absence of staff seemed unusual.

Very clean and great location. Noisy as the road is right in front and walls could use more insulation. Not very sound proof. Beautiful condo very modern and comfortable.
