15 Feb 2026Reception was lovely and polite. She was kind enough to give out her recommendations on what we can do in Taupo and Rotorua. We were guided well by her suggestions as we had nothing planned for this trip! Accommodation was of good value for money too. Location was walkable to many good restaurants. Glad we were able to book last minute because as soon as we arrived Taupo, everywhere else were fully booked.

17 Jun 2025A great place to stay. Warm including underfloor heating in winter. Nice Thai Restaurant on the property. Good bed, great shower. TV controls sometimes did not work.
Easy walk into the shops and entertainment area. This will be my go to stay in future visits to Taupo.

21 Feb 2026The owner Ron is a great proprietor; he is so helpful in sharing information re Taupo and things to do. Rooms are immaculate and are cleaned with utmost pride daily. This may have been my 3rd visit in last 10 years and will continue to see lodging there on future trips.

2 Aug 2020The toilet smelled of uri e in our room. The bathrooms are old and I think the urine smell could be in the tiles.
