A very comfortable and enjoyable short stay at The Village Hotel - and very handy for the Ovo Hydro where we saw 'Two Doors Down'. Bus stops were nearby - both Hop On/Off type and ordinary ones - so was easy to get around Glasgow. When we needed a taxi booking, the reception staff were happy to do so - and the taxis arrived promptly. The hotel had nice 'industrial style' contemporary decor, was well maintained and the rooms were very comfortable, clean and spacious. The restaurant food was nice enough - burgers, steaks, etc - and breakfasts were delicious. There were plenty of tables in the restaurant, so never felt squeezed in. All in all, for our first visit to Glasgow, we had a great time and staying at this hotel only enhanced our visit. Thanks!
