Was a social hostel for sure, the location is great, the rooms & bathrooms were clean. Just a few little things that made it uncomfortable and irritating to me. For example, if you are short and thick good luck getting on the top bunk! They made the ladder steps a whole leg apart. Also, the rooms are very small but there’s a lot of space to put your stuff which is good. Another thing is that it is way too hot with no ventilation in the whole place except the lobby.

We were a part of the family!
We loved this hostel! Stayed 3 nights. It’s family owned and we felt like we were a part of the family! 3 levels of rooms, only 10 rooms total. Not all full during our stay. Staff was kind and helpful. Loved snacks we’re available for free and food for purchase for any meal of the day. Rooms and shared bathroom room were always clean. Loved the updated modern feel blended with culture and tradition. Free bikes and east location to visit temples! Would book again.

Enjoyed my stay it was close to everything I needed.
Knew it wouldn't be a sociable hostel but I felt like there could've been more of an atmosphere.
Staff were okay very quiet, didn't make any conversation and were not always sure on information on the local area.

Friendly, clean, in a great location!
I really enjoyed my stay at bed and Bike, the staff were very sweet and friendly. The place was very clean, toilets and showers and shared areas were kept spotless.
The beds were comfortable, rooms were very basic as expected in a hostel.
They have a lot of food and drink options on their menu and the prices are good. My only criticism would be to offer some healthier options!
Location was easy to walk to all main tourist attractions, about 15-30 minutes walk in each direction and you’d reach something to look at. Grand palace, Wat Pho, golden mountain, flower market, river boat rides and so on!

great ambience
Great ambience! love every corner of this place. Effie was especially helpful in giving direction. With her help we had a chance to take local bus before heading to the airport. The hotel is located at charming old town where you can easily travel to Kao San Road, the Wat Pho, the 24 hrs flower market as well as the Grand Palace. Just 9 Thb the bus can take you to Hua Lamphong, where you can continue to travel by train or MRT.

Very cool and comfortable place to stay! Staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and equipped with everything you need. Perfect location in the middle of the old town, close to the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Khaosan road and China town. Would've loved to try the bike tour if we had time!

Chilled out spot in the Bangkok’s old town
A great hostel with a chilled out vibe. There were a lot of little things which made the experience. For example cotton buds and wool provided in the bathrooms and the common areas are very nicely decorated and relaxing music is played. The breakfast provides a good selection and is a great way to start the day.
Also very conveniently located for big hitters such as the Grand Palace.
Not a party hostel at all which worked for me.
Only criticisms:
The self service laundry which is coin operated can cost more than many services offered typically 90-150 baht a load (160 in my case and still a little damp most other places charge 50 a kilo) for washing and drying.
The bunk beds were very creaky so movements at night were amplified. Nothing the free earplugs couldn’t fix though.
Overall a very pleasant and peaceful stay with friendly staff.

Great location and well worth the price!!
I really enjoy this hotel/hostel! It is a charming place to relax and play pool, enjoy a burger and fries and explore Bangkok. It is about a 15 minute walk to Koh San Road and only a five minute walk to the palace and the river taxis.

Fabulous little hostel!!
We were so lucky to end up at Bangkok Bed and Bike. It's such a lovely place and the staff are so helpful. We stayed in two different private rooms and they are comfortable and clean with HUGE beds! The shower rooms are also very clean and modern, the location is perfect too, five minute walk from away from Wat Pho, Royal Palace, Museums, and the Chao Phraya River. Also just ten mins walk from China town and a 15 minute walk from Koh San Road down one straight road (the further away from that road, the better, in our opinion! But if thats your thing then at least you know you'll sleep as your hostel isn't disturbed by all the noise!)
This is a lovely place to stay and we are so glad we found it :)

Boutique hostel with excellent breakfast!
More like a 'boutique hostel' with better amenities (earplugs and water waiting for you on your bed) and a great, diverse, and plentiful morning breakfast. Hot water is abundant. The lobby area encourages gathering and making new travel friends. Decor is hip and unique -- I took several pix of my room (king bed, private) and the inviting lobby before departure. Close, short walk to Wat Arun via river taxi, Wat Pho, and the Grand Palace.

The perfect stay!
We LOVED our stay at Bangkok Bed and Bike! The place itself was awesome. Great location with very clean and well managed facilities! It is not far from the Grand Palace and just a 10-15 minute walk to Khaosan Road, the flower market, night market and more. We felt very safe and comfortable staying here. We were able to ask the front desk for suggestions and directions among other things and they were always very helpful. They also helped us hail a cab in the early morning when we had to head back to the airport. We stayed at several different hostels and hotels throughout our time in Thailand and Bangkok Bed and Bike was definitely one of our favorites. We would recommend it to anyone interested in staying in Old Bangkok and we will definitely be staying again next time we are in Bangkok!

Awesome service, breakfast and nice rooms
Very welcoming service at front desk. Clean and comfortable rooms. Love the decor of the whole hostel and first-rate breakfast. Close to a lot of the temples and down the road from Khao San. If there's some negatives, its probably the stairs being quite steep (bit of a hike to bring your bags up) and the female dorm I was in wasn't on the same level as the female bathrooms and toilets. But would definitely come here again!

Good location
I loved the breakfast in the morning. The check in was surprisingly at 2:00pm so I had to go out and be busy until I could have a nap after a long day of travel. The room is air conditioned, the toilet room and shower rooms are really nice with mythology water basins to wash with hair dryers in the wall. It's quite, and perfect for its ambiance as well.

Cleanest hostel with great staff close to KauSan.
Extremely clean rooms and showers, very able and personable staff, good breakfast, relaxing, quiet environment for socializing, good access for sightseeing and night life, fast enough Wifi. Highly recommend!
