Lovely stay in Botafogo. Larissa at the front desk was very helpful, as was all of the staff. We were lucky to have a corner room with a gorgeous view of the bay and Sugar Loaf. You can see Christ from the rooftop, which has a bar and food and a pool. Easy to Uber anywhere from here. There are Nespresso machines in the rooms with a charge per pod.
We would stay here again!

Fantastic view from the room of Sugarloaf Mountain and Botafogo beach. Excellent facilities in the hotel and helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommended for a stay in Rio if you want to try a different area to Copacabana or Ipanema.

Considering Rio standards, this is a good hotel. The rooms are fairly modern, and the rest of the facilities are exactly what you would expect at this level. I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Rio. The neighborhood was also very pleasant – much less touristy than Copacabana, which made the stay feel more authentic and relaxed.

The location is absolutely lovely – just a short Uber ride to Copacabana, Ipanema, and the Santa Teresa area. The hotel also offers free bikes, which are perfect for a ride to Flamengo Beach. The rooms are small but cute, with big windows and kept very clean. Breakfast was excellent in both quality and variety, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The highlight is the rooftop – the views are simply amazing.
