Very nice hotel in Hofn.
Nice hotel in Hofn. We are travelling the southern rim of Iceland, and Hofn was the farthest east we travelled. Staff was friendly and offered assistance. Heated floors in bathrooms were a nice touch. Overall very good experience.

The common areas and two dining spaces were very nicely appointed and the buffet breakfast was perfect. The rooms were less appointed with aged, scratched furniture and bathroom quite small

Service was excellent and the food was extremely good (we had lobster feast at the restaurant and breakfast buffet) Comfortwise - the room was quite cool with no apparent way to control the temperature and the pillows were very lumpy. Also the room was clean but not immaculate therefore the four stars.
