However, I was not made aware that the hotel was under construction, which I believe should be disclosed before booking. During my stay, the television wasn’t working, and there was no water for 24 hours.

I’m sure the hotel will be great once the renovations are complete, but I think some transparency about this in advance would have been appreciated.
