My stay was a wonderful experience. The room was exactly what I initially booked, small with a twin bed but the cleanliness made it a very pleasant stay. The staff was incredibly friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Good location for our planned sightseeing, hence the reason for booking this hotel in particular as well as the 8.8/ Excellent rating. The hotel interior including our room on the first floor was pretty dull and drab, unlike the photos on here. The ancient AC unit in our room decided to make weird gurgling noises around 3am, even though it was turned off! Staff were pleasant though. Didn’t go for the breakfast buffet as the area off reception used for this was pretty soulless. Based on our experience I cannot agree with that 8.8 rating.

This hotel is in a great location near the center of Paris. The room and all the amenities are nice. We arrived late at night but the desk clerk was friendly and quickly checked us in.

The location is great. Right in between Notre Dame and Pantheon. Walking distance to both. We can see Eiffel Tower from the Pantheon plaza. A lot of restaurants and local shops nearby. The hotel is very well maintained. Room is quiet and clean. The staff is very friendly.

Left Bank Hotel Option
The hotel is in a convient location on the Left Bank near the intersection of Blvd. St. Germain and Blvd St. Michel. The staff was friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was just what you'd expect - ok for a jump start. The price for our one evening stay was more than other hotels listed on Hotels.com in that area.

Bad experience
I only praise the good location of the hotel and the friendly and accommodating lady at the reception. On the other hand, I am outraged by the unkindness, insincerity, and lack of friendliness of the other people at the reception. Namely, in my haste, I left my mobile phone charger in the room, plugged into the wall. since I was in Paris for two more nights, I stopped by to pick him up. At first I was told that it was late and guests could not be disturbed, and the cleaning lady did not report anything. On the second day, an extremely uncivilized employee told me that the guests had not come, but nothing was found, and literally kicked me out of the hotel, unkindly and mockingly. on the third occasion, the first employee (who said he could not disturb the guests) confirmed that the guests had not arrived and that he had checked and found nothing. I have never experienced that unprofessionalism and twisting of the story anywhere. Shameful! I recommend all future travelers to avoid this hotel at all costs, especially considering that for the same price they can get a much better and better service and a much higher comfort and quality of accommodation.

It is meant as a basic hotel and I don't want to be overcritical, but it was less than a pleasant stay. My biggest concern was that it didn't seem very clean overall. Some staff members went out of their way to be helpful and friendly, but others were barely so-so. My biggest warning is that the combination tub and shower was so slippery that I skipped a shower on my second day because I was scared of falling.

Pros: Location. Right in the Latin Quarter, 7 minute walk to Norte Dame and the nightlife in the Latin Quarter. Staff. Very friendly staff who are the desk 24 hours. Cons: They have a policy that you must leave your key at the desk when out. This just made me uneasy that someone could enter the room. I was not worrying about the staff. But they did not conform who you were when you came back; just asked for your room number. Some random person could say a room number and enter your room. They also need to update the room locks. Condition of room. Much older than photos. Our bathroom was terrible (room 33). The tub is high and VERY slippery. Was worrying about falling. Secondly and most importantly, the paint was chipping from the ceiling very badly. This obviously was happening for a while. Horrible.
