Forest Pines Spa & Golf Resort

Forest Pines Spa & Golf Resort

8/10 Good
"The staff were lovely and very welcoming, and the hotel was exactly what we were looking for — somewhere comfortable and relaxing. The rooms were generally clean, although they could have benefited from a little more attention to dusting. There are also a couple of small improvements that I think would really help elevate the rooms and potentially the hotel’s star rating. Smart TVs would be a great addition, allowing guests to use services such as Netflix, and replacing the shower curtains over the baths with proper shower screens would make a noticeable difference. The gym and swimming pool were both really good and a great addition to the hotel. The signage around the hotel could perhaps be improved, as it can feel a little like a maze when trying to find your way around. The breakfast was really nice, with a good choice of options, and represented good value for money. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and felt the hotel provided everything we needed for a good one-night break. With a few small improvements, it could be even better."
