We were stranded on the island by the air traffic controller strike. I appreciate the staff opening their door for us to stay at a much higher rate. The place is hard to get to, far from being clean, no amenities like mini fridge, hair blower, safe and etc.

We were very lucky to find this place to stay during recent travel disruptions due to weather. The guest house is in a more residential part of Bridgetown away from the tourist area. It has extensive grounds where you can walk, sit, and observe monkeys, turtles, pet dogs, and nature. It is very peaceful and a great value. It is about USD 20 to take a car to the beach and tourist restaurants. The breakfast is simple. The proprietor is very kind and helped us out when we needed a room during multiple flight cancellations. We were in a recently renovated suite that was clean and nicely decorated. If you are looking for someplace that’s not fancy but has a lot of charm and is a terrific value, definitely stay here.

Amazing place

Very peaceful place just outside Bridgetown, one to remember. We had a dinner and breakfast which was both perfect. We had a 4 year old child with us, which is probably not the ideal visitor here, but the staff was very accommodating and kind.

I loved , loved this beautiful property. It was so peaceful and idyllic…. Our room was recently renovated and was very comfortable. The pool and the main house was very well preserved…. Breakfast the first morning was complimentary and was very tasty! The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Please don’t hesitate to book. The pictures doesn’t do it justice.

2/10 Poor

The washroom area had no door and was right next to the bed. The floors were painted plywood. The mattress was harder than the floor and only two sheets on the bed. It was significantly over priced. The property should be condemned

This is a SCAM hotel - do not book! The false advertising is nothing like reality. It was unsafe to say there due to the condition and work undertaken. Upon check in they agreed for a full return, however, they later changed their mind. This is not a functioning hotel, only a SCAM to get money and refuse to refund.

We paid $300 for this room… We were expecting a much higher level. This would’ve been a fair exchange if the room charge was $75. When we arrived there was no staff available. We waited for 30 minutes before anyone showed up. The people were nice and friendly. They got us a room. Our room wasn’t in the main plantation house. Which seemed much nicer. We were in the Courtyard area. It seemed like there should’ve been an adjustment for the fee. The pictures on the ad showed the beautiful amenities of the plantation house ambience. That is not what we got. The shower barely worked. On a scale of 1 to 10 for shower temperature it was at 1.5. Very invigorating which is not what I was hoping for. There was a used washcloth that was crusty and dried and yellowing with a used bar of Irish spring soap. That was the only soap provided in the shower.

This wellness sanctuary was exactly what I needed. From the birdsong to the rain pouring down in the evening, everything about this place invites you to slow down and breathe. The plantation-style setting is quaint, grounding, and deeply peaceful—surrounded by nature in a way that feels authentic and intentional. I spent the evening resting on the hammock as the rain fell, then moved to the upper deck to read, reflect, and write. As a writer, I really appreciated how inspiring and calming the space is—it naturally encourages creativity and presence. The simplicity of the accommodations is part of the beauty; it relies on nature and the essentials rather than excess, and it feels far more nourishing than an overpriced, overly curated hotel. One moment in particular will stay with me forever: while I was reading and recording a poem I was working on, right at a tender line about love, the on-site dog wandered over and sweetly started licking my face—completely unprompted. It was such a pure, unexpected moment of connection that my heart just melted. I felt so much love in that moment, and it perfectly captured the spirit of this place. Adding to the magic, I’m celebrating my birthday this weekend, and the sanctuary happened to be setting up for a party—creating a beautiful, celebratory energy that felt like the universe saying, “We already set the table for you.” My only regret is booking just one night. I absolutely wish I had stayed longer and would return in a heartbeat.

Dog hair all over furniture in common areas. Not food available. Pool was dirty. No greeting or explanation given about property. No assistance with luggage and all rooms are upstairs. Property is not as described. This is really a wedding venue with room for the wedding party to get ready and not a boutique hotel.

This an interesting and different option. Great if you want a secluded place away from the bustle. Country house feel. Not much in the way of food or amenities but very relaxing. Close enough to town and entertainment, restaurants etc.
