Very clean, modern and cozy hotel. I had much lower expectations but i was amazed at how clean, comfortable and modern the rooms are. I'll definitely be stopping there again on the drive to/from Europa park

20 Oct 2025Excellent hotel. Meals were very good. If you’re used to having a face cloth, bring your own. Apparently it’s the custom in almost all German hotels where we stayed, not to provide them. The location is automobile dependent, unless you’re up for a two mile walk. While at the hotel, service was excellent.

Hotel Scheid was a reasonably good place. The service was good and the restaurant is quite good. The included breakfast was good. The parking was very difficult. It was very hard to find a spot and the spots were very small. The room we were in was small and had a bathroom with almost but not quite opaque glass--not something we had seen before and it did not give enough privacy.

11 Oct 2023Ok hotel. Not much to report. The bathroom situation is really strange. The room had a glass box that holds the toilet and shower. You can see what’s going on in there, so you better be very comfortable with who you’re traveling with, also if you have to go #2 - literally fills the room with smell.

8 Aug 2026Super fijne plek voor onze doorreis terug naar huis, vlak langs de weg. Geen geluidsoverlast als je de ramen dicht hebt. Fijne bedden, lekker geslapen. Grote fijne badkamer. Vriendelijk personeel, zowel met inchecken en uitchecken, als bij de bar en het ontbijt. We zullen dit hotel zeker onthouden mochten we nog eens in de buurt een overnachting nodig hebben.
