Excellent place to stay, friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms and a good breakfast. Easy access to Manhattan island via the ferry nearby

I would highly recommend this hotel. Rooms are equipped with a small kitchen with a fridge/freezer, two ring hot plate, dishwasher and cooking equipment . The beds (1 king and a double sofa bed) were comfortable and the bathroom with shower equally excellent. Housekeeping were efficient and restocked the tea/coffee each morning. The stay also came with eat as much as you could buffet style breakfast, that was of good quality. The hotel was a sort walk from the ferry which took you across the Hudson River into New York (which at the time of writing was $9 per adult each way or you can get the bus into New York for $3.50 each way. I would not hesitate to stay here again. a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Great spot if you don’t mind getting the ferry to Manhattan / midtown everyday.

Lovely hotel, very clean and good location opposite the ferry terminal. If in NYC again I would stay. Maybe a little info from the front of House team on local amenities would be the icing on the cake. Also in need of some supplies as had a shortage of pillows.

Positives: - Brand new facilities - Well equipped rooms - Breakfast was ok / restaurant staff were pleasant. - Day time staff were helpful. Negatives - Very unhelpful when checking in (apart from a young man who seemed to be learning the job but tried his best to help than the lady supervising him). - the hotel should upload images of the exterior to help people make informed choice when booking. And it would also help prospective guests make informed choices if photos can be shot from inside the currently operational "rooms with City view". - taxis into/from New York are expensive (+$60 one way) because they add tollgate fee. Another option is a bus (approx 20mins to Port Authority Bus Terminal) costs $3.50 one way. - the immediate local area isn't interesting, apart from a walk to the Hudson river bank so that you can see the view of New York. - My son complained of a headache around midnight due to the very noisy air conditioner. It is very noisy! It has a way of switching itself on regardless of how many times you wake up to switch if off. - we didn't get any refills in the bathroom and kitchenette. My family has, by a majority of 4 to 0, agreed never to book this hotel again. It was a big contrast to the wonderful 3 nights we stayed at another Marriott hotel in Downtown Washington DC.

The walls are paper thin. You hear EVERYTHING. Clean, friendly staff, would stay again.

It’s really nice to have the living room space and bedroom, but I wouldn’t recommend this place if you have to work from the room. There is no proper desk set up, so you end up working from the uncomfortable kitchen chairs. They really hurt my back. Because of COVID, they don’t clean your room unless you ask. The bed is a little hard. The shower was nice and I liked having 2 TVs.
