This was such a gem, we wished we had found it earlier as we spent the previous week elsewhere. The rooms are boutique and unique. It feels like entering a livable art piece wich was probably the intention considering the name of the hotel and the adjacent art/antique shop that is attached to it and that belongs to them. This is located right by Via Chiaia and the seawalk of Mergellina. Safe and clean area. The room was kept clean and the included breakfast was a spread.
The owners are super friendly and hospitable and they go above and beyond.
What we didnt like:
Even though you climb a few sets of stairs, fhe room still ends up being at street level on one of the sides. That is because this neighborhood is hilly at the back and as a result, one of the balcony was literally there on the street. This was somewhat of a problem because the doors weren't soundproof and the noises traveled right through. Not a deal breaker to be sure, still not the greatest.
The only thing that we were not happy with:
Our bed had a hollow/caved in shape, and as a result it was really uncomfortable to sleep in because you couldn't sleep straight and you were constantly slowly pushed towards the center. This sucked because you could tell this was a quality bed. Not sure what happened.
Overall this is a great spot to choose for quality, location and price.
