Amazing 5* Stay!
Amazing Stay at this new hotel for 4 nights beyond my expectation (for the price I paid)! Superb location right across Kyoto Station (5*). Booked the Superior room and it was spacious with decent sized bathroom c/w bathtub (5*). Excellent housekeeping team that made the room look spick and span everyday as though you just checked in (5*). Comfortable bed, linen and towels (5*). The lounge on the first floor which is accessible to all guests is big for mingling and it provides different hot beverages (5*). Near to the reception is a countertop for you to pick a variety of amenities and toiletries which include face wash, moisturiser, lotion, mask, shaver etc.(5*). Oh yes, the Onsen is of decent size and good to relax there after a day of long walking(5*). Will definitely go back on my next trip. Do book early to get good rate. Pls keep up the high standard!

It’s the location!
Knowing that we’d be using the train quite a bit, we chose the hotel primarily for its location - just a few short blocks from the Tokyo train station. It was perfect! (It’s also happens to be across the street from a mall with a Don Quijote - great for fun flavors of KitKats and souvenirs.) The breakfast buffet was worth the price and kept us going past lunch but we wished that it had varied a bit from day to day. There’s an espresso machine in the lounge though it would have been nice if there was one in the dining room where breakfast was served. Like most Japanese hotels, the room was on the small side and spotless. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. The only negative was that we didn’t find the hotel desk or dining staff to be as friendly or as helpful as staff at other hotels.

Awesome hotel accross from Kyoto station
This hotel is perfect. While it was small, it was still big enough for a family of four. We loved that it was literally right across the street from Koto station which itself is a sight to see with the awesome bridge and all of the architecture in the station itself. It was super easy to get anywhere in town. Also we Uber eats from a Thai restaurant to the room and it was amazing. It’s a really great upscale hotel with a lounge open to all guest with books and tea coffee and matcha!

Clean and amazing location
Very near Kyoto Station, location was amazing. Cleanliness was top notch. Breakfast buffet spread was also amazing. Only comment I have would be that your clothes would smell like food after having breakfast. Hope they’d install stronger exhausts. But other than that, it was an amazing stay. Would definitely consider again when we come back.

Check in lady gave me low floor, noisy room
Upon checking in, I asked for a higher floor and a room that is far from the elevator, for quietness. The tall lady at the check in counter said she gave me a quiet room on a higher floor. After getting to me room, to my surprise she gave me a low floor, near the elevator, and at the T intersection where it was very noise with people walking by and talking. I know Japanese always puts priority on their own people. But this was bad. I had to put on earplugs when I slept. The other parts of the hotel is quite satisfactory.
