The hotel has taken what looks like a pretty dull old building and made into something much more fun and contemporary. The rooms are a good size, décor is modern and the staff all incredibly helpful. The location is another bonus being right across the road from Potato Head. There is also a roof bar on the hotel which is quite cool. Breakfast was also incredibly good and worth taking it included.
We stayed in a one bed villa with a private pool, the villa itself was beautiful and spacious, the veranda and the private pool area have wonderful views, perfect at any time of day.
The complimentary mini bar, breakfast and afternoon tea were all wonderful, there was a great selection at breakfast and the staff looked after us very well, making sure that we had enough. The afternoon tea contained different sandwiches and cakes every day for our 5 days.
I will return as soon as possible.

I have been many times to Bali but didn't know well the Canggu area as it is rather new.
First I would definitely recommend Canggu nowadays, not only it has awesome beaches to surf but the restaurants, bars and nightlife scene is pretty cool.
Koa is so near to Perawa beach which is awesome for surfers still learning and still has big nice waves.
The hotel has very new installations, the rooftop and pool is just awesome to chill...
The Island suite were large with great wardrobe space and a big bathroom.
The breakfast was great with a very good choice.
Great pool with amazing staff to help with everything!
Good for going to all the lot shops and restaurants.

It's our first time in Bali & we loved our stay at Montigo. The location is perfect, just 2minutes away from Fat Turtle, Potato Head Beach Club & a few minutes car ride from Seminyak village etc. The staff are very helpful and warm, right from the moment we arrived at the airport. When our flight was cancelled due to Mount Agung, the hotel was quick to offer dining and spa vouchers, as well as discounted rates for us to extend the stay. Didn't regret our choice to not book a villa, and we will...
Amazing hotel, without a doubt i would stay here again. Breakfast is A La Carte and it tasted great. Been travelling south east asia for 5 weeks and it was definitely the best breakfast. Good location, friendly staff, room was very clean. Left cash sitting out on table and was folded up and left on the side of the table when i returned later that day. 5 stars Kanvaz keep up the good work.

The complimentary airport shuttle was a wonderful sight at our 1.30am pickup. Lovely quiet, clean spacious room. Good breakfast plenty of choice and nice outdoors seating.
Great hotel in a great location. Every single staff member went out of their way to help us. The restaurant was amazing, with breakfast definitely worth the money. Amenities were all great, felt very safe and looked after our whole stay.
The location of this hotel is fantastic,away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud and Kuta. Most places to visit eg Ubud, Kuta Beach, monkey forest were about 1 hour away.
Hospitality at the hotel was superb and the range of food offered at the hotel restaurants is varied. There is wide range of options for breakfast however quite limited for vegetarians with the hot food selection.

We had an amazing stay at Avanya Resort Bali Kuta. The location is perfect — close to the beach yet peaceful and relaxing. The rooms were beautifully designed, clean, and very comfortable. Staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The pool area is stunning, and the breakfast spread was delicious. A perfect blend of luxury and Balinese hospitality.
