Hotels with Kitchens in Namibia

We stayed here for one night. We had a lovely time there. The setting is an old bakery and this makes for a very interesting and unusual hotel where they have incorporated aspects of the old bakery. Having said that the amenities were excellent with very comfortable, clean and lovely rooms in individual bungalows. Breakfast and the evening meal were also excellent. Like many lodges in Namibia it is very isolated although it was easy to find. We also used the swimming pool which was great.

We were there in February (Namibian summer) so it was hot in the tent during the day, and the huge water-filled cooling thingy (don't know what it's called) didn't help at all, if anything it made the tent hotter not to mention the noise it made. We decided to just open the windows and through in the warm breeze. It was better once the sun had gone down. Otherwise it was a great stay. Staff were nice and friendly and we enjoyed the sundowner game drive.

Fantastic stay in family chalet. Lovely sunset and sunrise. So very quiet onsite. Nice pool to cool off in afternoon sun. Great beer from brewery. Didn’t know what to expect but it easily surpassed our expectations.

A lovely, peaceful place to stay. Corné was very attentive, and we enjoyed talking to him about Namibia. Wildlife came close to our lodge. Meals were very tasty and wholesome. We opted for a barbecue on the hilltop at sundown. It was beautifully set up for our evening, and we had good food and conversation with Corné and Cindy. We felt very well looked after.

This was our second visit to Eagles Nest and this time we stayed at Eagles View Cabin. Eagles view was even better than our last cabin with an amazing view. We were surprised to find the desert in bloom with wild flowers everywhere - really beautiful. The cabin whilst rustic and a little chilly at night has everything you need for a self catering break and was very clean and comfortable. This is simply the most wonderful place to stay just north of the Fish River Canyon and the Namibian border. The owners are super friendly and helpful, my expectations were fully met. PLEASE do yourself a favour and book dinner there, the lamb roast is out of this world and hospitality providers like these need to be supported. A very well appointed lodge, upmarket rooms or large ensuite tents. In keeping with our safari theme we choose the tent. Large, 4 single beds, why 4 I don't know, very clean, large ensuite shower bathroom area at the rear. Similarly large kitchen area/veranda/dining area with river view. All perfectly clean and equipped to self cater all meals. The main reception, bar and restaurant is multi level with expansive views. The staff were absolutely wonderful, cheerful, funny and very helpful. I can’t praise them enough. The room was very clean

Stayes in beautiful family lodge with mini kitchen. Pool and terrace was a great place to sit out and enjoy views. Host and staff attentive but nit overbearing. Good location to get into Outjo and neighbouring tourist sites.

A wonderful quiet place to escape the din of the city with kind and caring staff offering the best of German attention to detail. If only we could have extended our stay, but we had a tight schedule. We’ll be back soon!

What a great stay, the tent was well equipped with everything you needed. Great hot shower, large fridge/freezer comfortable beds. Enjoyed the swimming pools and the Palmwag burger washed down with a Tafel. Staff were very welcoming and friendly.

Has everything you need if you want to have e.g. a place to stay in Windhoek before or after a round trip through Namibia.

The hotel was so calm and relaxing. The staff was very pleasant. Ruby stood out for us with her kindness and willingness to help. The spa was like stepping into a calming bubble.

Fantastic stay, Rainer & Silke the owners were so helpful & friendly. It is more like a 25 minute walk into the centre of Swakomund but it's along the seafront so very picturesque.

Excellent location in an historical building, with great views of the Atlantic Ocean. Very friendly and accommodating owners. We liked it so much that we booked an extra night.
