Valletta is known for its museums and port, and entices visitors with its popular attractions, including Grand Masters Palace and Merchant Street Market.
If you’re after a show while in the centre of Valletta, you might want to get tickets at Malta Experience. Why not take a stroll along the marina and watch the sunset while you're here? If you enjoy the show and want to see another, Knights Spectacular 1565, Malta5D, and Manoel Theatre are all a short walk away.
If you can't wait to get to the beach, you might enjoy a trip to St George's Beach, located 0.6 mi (0.9 km) from central St. Julian's. If you want to continue walking by the waves, head to Exiles Beach located nearby.
If you're in central Cirkewwa and want to top up your tan, you might want to head out to Paradise Bay Beach. Enjoy the sunset by the shore at Golden Sands Beach, Armier Bay Beach and Hondoq ir-Rummien Beach.
If you're planning a bit of sightseeing during your trip, head to Sliema Promenade – just one of the landmarks located 0.5 mi (0.8 km) from central Sliema. Hotels.com travellers also say the area is full of friendly people and that it has lots of nice beaches. It's also full of great shops and restaurants, so you can spend the afternoon having a wander.
We are really glad we chose to stay here. The owners and staff were extremely helpful and kind. They looked after us really well and we're always going above and beyond to ensure we had the best time, were well fed in the mornings and gave us bottled drinks to take with us when we mentioned off-hand we would be out all day.
We came to Malta so I could rest and get better after (unbeknownst to the owners) a serious illness. Staying at Lulus boutique was exactly what I needed for a stress free,...

Absolutely loved this brand new hotel. Manager is the best, super friendly and makes sure we're having a perfect stay. Breakfast in the nearby restaurant was delicious. Highly recommended!

A lovely 5* hotel close to all amenities but very quiet. The hotel is in St.George's bay and the beach is 5 mins from the hotel wih a small sandy beach and sunbeds. There are a number of restaurants and fast food outlets close to the hotel. A short bus ride away at Spinola Bay will offer you a further selection of lovely restaurants on the waters edge. The Bay Street shopping complex over 4 floors has an entrance directly opposite the hotel or can be accessed from level -3 car park directly...

This is an absolute gem. I came to Malta to work in the mornings and explore in the afternoons. The studio apartment is well equipped and proved to be an excellent base. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. There are some good bars hidden away nearby. It is a short walk to the tourist areas. Cabs are cheap and easy to get. I stayed for an extra week. In fact, I am still here and considering spending the rest of the winter here!

We were very happy with everything about this hotel. Location is superb for people like us who do not like being in the complex of hotels! It is in residential area opposite the San Anton Palace with their excellent parks and their 'Palace Kitchen Gardens'. We didn't have to hire a car as busses are easy to find with a flat rate of 1.5 Euro per journey (which is valid for 2 hours). To cap it all we later discovered that the Queen had the banquet dinner there with the Commonwealth Head of States...

Hotel Phoenicia was a lucky choice for our first visit to Malta. Ideally positioned to walk into Valetta, and easy to get to everywhere by car. Bus station would have been possible too as just beside the hotel.
The Hotel oozed colonial charm especially The Club bar where the service was impeccable.
We chose the Pegasus restaurant for main meals and had the buffet breakfast in the main restaurant. No chance of starving. Preferred the more intimate setting of the Pegasus. The service was first...

The ambience within the property and available facilities were excellent. All staff were friendly, helpful and provided detailed information to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is within a very good network of public transport to different parts of Malta; we took the bus to Valleta but we could have taken it to other parts but we were only there for a long weekend. Our experience of booking an executive suite which came with the lounge was somewhat underwhelming; however if you want some...

Beautiful hotel in a scenic location. Fantastic facilities. Amazing staff. We had a late flight but were allowed to keep our rooms till 1pm and still had use of facilities.
Breakfast whilst very good is not up to the same standard as Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife.
