"What can we say this place took our breathe away! Such a beautiful setting with the accommodation set right amongst the natural surroundings of how these animals should be seen. The staff again like at Tsala in Plettenberg were amazing and can’t do enough to help you during your stay and after too. "Amazing lodge to explore the Shamwari Game Reserve. While it was quite a ride to reach the lodge, every bump on the gravel road was totally worth it. Staff: all staff members were very welcoming, attentive, friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make our stay so perfect and pleasant. " If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! Our entire stay was nothing short of spectacular. The staff was incredibly warm and attentive, with Sheldon, our butler, doing an amazing job to make sure everything was flawless.The meals were absolutely fantastic, and as vegetarians, we were thrilled with the creative and delicious vegetarian dishes prepared just for us—each meal was a culinary masterpiece! "Bukela is a beautiful stay, facilities are great, friendly staff and our ranger (Sim) was very knowledgeable. Foodwise is really below average, just not good especially for a 5* resort. It felt like diner was prepared during the day and heated up in the evening, just not fresh. Breakfast was really poor. Only meal that was good was the lunch. No snacks during the day. Due to this matter i will not likely to visit Bukela again nor reconmend to anyone which is regretful as the staff and facilities...
