We love coming to Calistoga to visit wine country! It's much less pretentious than Napa and you get more of a small town feel.

Calistoga is in the Napa Valley. The valley seems to be about 4-5 miles, so the whole area has an intimate feeling. There are a gazillion wineries, and the landscape is full of vineyards. It is one of California's treasures.

A gem of a town that feels less snobby than other places. Good restaurants, a bookstore and a Pilates studio. What more do you need!?

Hit up Romeo for a wine tasting if you have $60.00. The wines are pricey compared to Sonoma or Mendocino County, but are on point for the quality and what you would pay in Napa. Besides, the staff are friendly and the wine is amazing.
"I’d would highly recommend this property to enjoy an amazing atmosphere and surrounding environment. Delightful dining. Loved the bathhouse……loved spending the night and connect with my wife in a very comfortable and romantic way. Thank you Ben "

"Loved the vibe and the room was nice. The vibe around the hotel was healthy and chill. The bar has good drinks and the kitchen with outdoor seating is perfect for lounging in the sun. Our favorite part was the filtered water available in the lobby and the mineral bath soak pool and cold water bucket dump feature. We will be back for sure. "
