"This place is a little gem with the most convenient location if wanting to be close to the GGB. It’s a little dated, but that’s part of the charm, and to be expected with motor motels — It’s the best of that category in SF. Also, the staff are really helpful and friendly."

"We have stayed here twice. Has everyrhing you need. Clean room, comfy bed; friendly helpful staff, property well maintained, and free parking! The only drawback is some noise but that is due to the businesses close by. If noise is an issue for you then just request an interior room. Great hotel!"

"It was noisy because of events, construction and traffic on the street, but I still had a good stay here. I enjoyed walking the neighborhoods of Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf, and the Embarcadero, and bought groceries from a nearby Safeway."

We were a bit worried when we arrived that the area outside the hotel was crazy busy and full of loud cars, bikes and music… but we had read a top tip to request a courtyard room and so actually our room was super quiet and relaxing and a nice break from the chaos of fisherman’s wharf.
Restaurant breakfast was delicious but there’s also a latam coffee shop on the corner of the block directly behind the hotel who do amazing pastries.

What a great location only a few minutes drive from Golden Gate Bridge and on bus route 28 into Fisherman’s Wharf. We had a courtyard room which, although it was cosy, was all we needed for a couple of nights in San Francisco. The bed was really comfortable and the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Being able to park our car on site and not worry about it being safe was a bonus.
We would highly recommend this quirky hotel with a friendly welcome. We’d happily stay again.

Excellent little motel, in a perfect location. Free Car parking was a bonus. We left our car there and used the public transportation to get around which was excellent. Beds were comfortable and rooms were cleaned on a daily basis. The staff members at the front desk were helpful and friendly.

A fantastic place - a real oasis in the city of San Francisco. The staff are really helpful and there are lots of nice touches like the sherry and cookies at 4pm every day. The neighbourhood is relatively safe and parking is available, but like all cities, not risk-free.

Great location and a convenient base for exploring San Francisco!
We had a great stay at the Holiday Inn during our visit to San Francisco. The hotel was in a fantastic location and made a great base for exploring the city.
Our rental car was unfortunately too tall for the hotel’s parking garage, but we found another parking garage just two blocks away, which was really convenient and worked out well for us.

If the price leans towards the higher end, we may suggest alternative dates that could offer more affordable options.
Consider your location: Opting for accommodation near major attractions or city centres may offer convenience, but it often comes with elevated costs. For those seeking more affordable options, it may be worth considering hotels located in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and accessibility to your intended destinations. You could also look into independent hotels situated further afield, which are usually more likely to be affordable and can provide a more authentic experience.
