Hotels in Basauri

I cannot rate this hotel and it’s staff highly enough. We visited in the middle of July just after Covid 19 restrictions were lifted. We drove from A Coruna and arrived after midnight. We booked one double room for myself, husband and small dog and a second for our 25 year old daughter. We received the most warm welcome despite the late hour and this continued throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff had to work within the very tight restrictions required to operate...

A nice hotel. It is clean, modern and well maintained. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was nice. The best thing is the location, just on the edge of the old town and next to the river. The only slight drawback was that the room was on the top floor and it was very warm despite the air-conditioning.

Well appointed hotel in a great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Superb breakfast to set you up for the day. Highly recommended.

Really nice room in a nice neighbourhood. Even though I stayed on a Friday night, there wasn't much noise after midnight. I stayed during a heatwave and the air condition was amazing! The water pressure in the shower was perfect too! If I go ever go to Bilbao again, I will try to stay here.

Fantastic location right in the middle of the old town yet couldn't hear any external noise. Very easy to find and clear instructions getting into the property. Very modern and clean apartment,comfy bed, beds made each day. Air con a bonus as was very warm when we visited. All in all fantastic apartment at a great price, would stay again and will recommend to others.

Nice simple hotel with comfy beds. Very easy to get to from the airport and a nice walk into the old town. Pool table to play on in the lobby, and a decent breakfast selection. Would recommend for an affordable city break.

Within easy, safe walking of the Guggenheim. Friendly reception and well informed concerning public transport options. Efficient breakfast service.

Modern, clean , in the centre of Bilbao and the airport bus stops in front of the hotel door . Simply perfect

Located at the quieter end of town this smart compact hotel is the perfect place to stay. Just a short 10 min walk from the main bus station (or 5 min by tram) it is literally just a few short steps from Las Casilla tram stop (it terminates right outside the hotel) Small but comfortable rooms, with a good sized bathroom & all the facilities you would expect from a 4 star hotel, inc' a safe. house phone, numerous power outlets, flat screen TV, fridge, air conditioning, complimentary toiletries...

Lovely helpful staff. Clean rooms and a nice touch of tea and coffee provided at breakfast. Only issue was the hotel was hard to find. Google showing the hotel as permanently closed and there was no obvious signage outside the hotel.

We stayed at the Petit Palace Arana for a weekend whilst the BBK Live festival was on. The hotel is in a good position on the edge of the old town and close to the Plaza Nueva. There's plenty of choices of places to eat and drink locally, and the main shopping area is a few minutes' walk away, as is the metro. The hotel is modern, despite being in an old building, although there are a few staircases to climb (there is also a lift). The rooms are basic, but clean, comfortable and functional, and...

Lovely hotel, no kitchen or bar but everything close by. Great area to walk from to explore

Really nice hotel in a location handy for the Guggenheim- 10 min walk away. Hotel has a huge atrium and a cafebar and separate restaurant. Small pool on the 6th floor is open air plus male and female saunas for guests use. Bedroom was spacious and bathroom very nice. Air con worked well. Shopping centre on one side of hotel. At the back is a nice park. Great place to stay. Not cheap but you how's things? What you pay for.
