"We had a wonderful time and the service was outstanding. The grounds are beautiful and the beach is stunning. The only issue we had was the condition of the beach chairs. It was surprising that they were in such poor condition. The back rests were not stable and my husband got his finger caught in the hinge when he sat down and the back folded back unintentionally. He required 5 stiches and had a very long stay at the local hospital. The assistant director was wonderful and very helpful...

It has a sea side and a "roundabout" side of rooms, and it is two different worlds from your room, we could see when we left. Taranto old town itself is still partly run-down, and Albergo del Sole is on the side of the island, that is not really modernized. Which makes the experience even more authentic.
