Comfy room in good location
We stayed only one night. Service was efficient and room was comfy. There were some sparkly confetti left on the carpet from previous guests so cleaning was not very thorough. Wallpaper from one corner of the room was peeling badly indicating a potential damp problem. The lake view was really nice and location very good.

Before standard cleaning
The bathroom had not been cleaned properly. A previous visitors towel was still hanging in the bathroom and behind the door clearly had not been touched in many washes.

Needed to keep up with the news
A software update on the TVs was done so the one in our room stopped working on the second night. We were told someone would come and fix it but that did not happen. When we spoke to someone the following day, they said they would send someone up right away. When we returned that evening, it was still not repaired. Then we were informed that it was unfixable - was there not a spare one in the hotel? or could they not have told us this the first time they looked at it. The staff was lovely and comp'd us our parking, but I think they could have some tot he conclusion it was unfixable after the first inspection of the TV.

Nice hotel, great location! Beautiful view from our room! Great service from staff! Only disappointment was the additional fee for parking, sorry but this isn’t New York City with its limited parking space! It’s cute, quaint Kingston, Ontario! Might have to reconsider this hotel next visit!

Great place to stay in Kingston!
We had a great time! Next time however we will be sure to ask for a room on the harbour side. But the room we had was comfortable, large and clean. The bar was a great place for a 5-7. All in all we had a lovely time!
