I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, but I feel like the price was a bit steep for what you get. For one, the property isn't bad but it's obviously dated and old. The floor in my room was uneven and you could feel a dip when you got closer to the balcony. The room has connections near the TV to plug in your stuff. The Ethernet port didn't work for me and upon looking behind the desk, the Ethernet box was busted.
The whole entry point to the hotel is under massive construction and it was hard to find the entrance. There is only valet parking as far as I can tell. During checkout hours it was backed up a ton. The elevators were also jammed packed with people.
Directly across the street is a massive construction site. If your room faces that side, you might get stuck listening to construction at 3am. Thankfully they stopped working over the weekend but still. You have to pay extra to face the Riverwalk.
Staff was excellent, the food on site or nearby was great. I loved having a Starbucks/Snack shop on site. I think once construction is complete, it may be worth the cost. But right now, it's kind of unfortunate.
