I love this hotel for the grand historic building, the spacious rooms and the fantastic lake views.

After a long fight Konstanz and the hotel Steigenberger offered the most relaxing way to kick off a several week holiday! Would come back to spend a couple of weeks.

Very big hotel in fantastic location
Large old building in fantastic location. The house is a bit institutional. The corridors seem old but the room we had was very nice and resently updated. Elegant bathroom. All necessary amenities were in the room. The terrasse on the lake is fantastic, but was unfortunately closed due to the weather. Breakfast was really good.

I loved this hotel. Konstanz is a beautiful town and this hotel is in the center of it all. Walking distance from both the port and train station. The hotel is in a former monastery. It is located right on the lake and rooms have both city and lake views. I stayed in a single on the 4th floor. The elevator goes to the 3rd but the hotel offered to take my luggage up if I did not want to go up the one flight of stairs. My room was super nice and clean. The bathroom was great. Would totally recommend to anyone.

Das Hotel ist wunderbar gelegen am See und nur einen Spaziergang von Konstanz‘ Hafen, Bahnhof und Hauptplatz entfernt. Die Terrasse am See und das Seeschwimmbad sind sehr schön.

We enjoyed our stay - but unfortunately we got very little sleep the night between Saturday and Sunday as a big wedding was held at the hotel. EXTREMELY loud music until almost 2AM in the morning made any attemp to sleep impossible.
I guess, weekends are not the time to stay here.

So geht Top-Hotelerie:
- fantastische Lage in einem alten Dominikanerkloster mit langer Hoteltradition,
- exzellenter Service,
- sehr schoene, extrem grosse und hochwertig ausgestattete Zimmer (mit Seeblick & Balkon),
- fantastisches Fruehstueck,
- sehr gute Kueche im hauseigenen Domikaner-Restaurant und der Zeppelin-Bar,
- gute Parkmoeglichkeit direkt am Haus (gebuehrenpflichtig) und nahe am Bahnhof gelegen,
- sehr kurze Wege in die Konstanzer Altstadt und zum Stadtgarten bzw. zum Hafen mit Katamaran-Service nach Friedrichshafen (Zeppelin- und Dorniermuseum).
Ein Haus der Spitzenklasse, das zeitlis elegant und modern ausgestattet ist. Das Team war rundum fantastisch und sehr bemueht, perfekten Service zu bieten. Danke auch an Herrn Breitling fuer die tollen Topps zu Museen und Sehenswuerdigkeiten.
Wer sich und/oder andere verwoehnen will, ist hier richtig - freu mich schon auf das naechste Mal!

Guter Ausgangspunkt für Konstanz
Wir waren insgesamt mit dem Hotel zufrieden. Lage und Ausstattung sind sehr gut. Das Frühstücksangebot ist ordentlich und von sehr guter Qualität.
Zwei Punkte zur Kritik: Für ein zusätzliches Frühstück wurden 39,00 Euro berechnet. 5 der 7 E-Ladestationen auf dem gebührenpflichtigen Parkplatz waren außer Betrieb. Die max. Standdauer von 4h reicht bei der angebotenen Ladegeschwindigkeit nicht aus.

We have stayed at this property on numerous occasions and it is my favorite place to be in all of Europe. The staff is above and beyond accommodating, the dinner at the restaurant is absolutely superb and nothing can top the complementary breakfast. We will look forward to coming here again and again.
