The staff at the hotel were all very friendly and the night of our arrival (party of 4) we arrived late and although the kitchen and finished service, they prepared a wonderful evening meal for us.

Room was spotlessly clean, nice bedding and pillows , lovely bar area outside, and nice and quiet. We eat in the restaurant and whilst the menu is a bit limited the food we had was delicious. Nice bar area with good cocktails and a great cocktail barman .

Charming oasis. Beautifully appointed areas, lovely accommodation. We stayed in rooms 3&4 of the Courtyard area (aka Stables), very comfortable and nicely decorated, kitchen, beautiful bathroom and very comfortable beds. Food service was excellent in dining room and Cafe. The outside spaces are perfect for curling up and relaxing. Highly recommend a stay here to relax and rejuvenate. Fabulous venue for a wedding, family reunion or special occasion.

Atmosphere was great and hotel was nicely laid out. There were a few areas to improve, such as bathroom cleanliness (suspect hairs from previous guests), and shower head sprayed everywhere. Also the plug in the middle of the bed was a bit strange. But we still had a lovely stay and the dinner and breakfast was excellent.

Always great service, clean hotel. Great rooms with slow gin in the rooms...food is great and if you fancy something else there is a nice pud round the corner that offers your classics. Stayed here several times and would highly recommend.

Great hotel!
A lovely hotel from the start to finish. Was greeted by a lovely lady on reception who even took the time to escort me to show me where the room was. Food service was again great. Nothing was too much trouble. The one and only criticism I could have is there was no shower gel in the shower. Had a lovely shampoo and conditioner though! All n all a great stay and will use again when I in the area.

The kitchen was not very well eqipped.....no glasses, only 1 dinner plate,however,very clean.
The extra wide bed was supremely comfortable linen and towels were high quality, soft and comfortable. Very clean throughout. Food was well presented and delicious. We loved the combination of modern and rustic. The outdoor area well maintaned and very spacious. All staff were friendly and helpful.

Quirky but yet comfortable hotel in great location for audley end events.
Good breakfast good selection of drinks.
Loft bed was big enough superb large bed coffee machine tv no sep shower but shower in bath.
All good and was what was needed.

We got a very warm welcome and staff were friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the young lady serving at breakfast today with the dark brown hair(sorry, didnt get her name!). She was a credit to the hotel with her friendliness and smiley face at all times! With the weather being so hot the choice of room (loft room) didnt help our stay as it was exceptionally hot, however a fan was provided. Main meals weren't tried however the breakfast was delicious with local produce and cracking poached eggs! Overall we'd definitely visit again however next time my wife has said i shouldn't be as tight and not book a loft room for better ventilation!!

Loved the place , it was lovely and clean. The staff was all very polite. Only thing for us was there was a wedding there the next day and we felt out of place as they took over the whole hotel so we stayed in our room as we felt out of place. We didn’t have evening meal there for this reason. Next day we also waited as late as possible to have our breakfast as the whole dining room was full of the wedding party.

Weekend break
We had an excellent stay here with a meal in the evening that was fantastic. Breakfast was excellent too. We stayed in one of the loft rooms and it was great. Comfortable bed, brilliant bathroom. Everything you could want from a stay. We'll definitely stay here again if we get the chance!

Rather expensive.
The Cozy room is in the basement, next to a public bathroom, having heard a dog yapping last night I finally got to meet it on check out as it chased me down the reception barking, much to the humour of the staff working.
At over a £110 a night I’ll not be returning.
