Avoid at all costs. There was a water fault on the island on the Saturday and we were informed it was cleared by the mayor on Saturday night by a restaurant we had booked for Sunday night. We were due to stay on the Sunday and I hadn’t had any communication from the hotel at all. i had even messaged in May when I booked and didn’t hear anything, and their phone number doesn’t work. I reached out to them to ask about the water problem on the Saturday and didn’t hear from them. They messaged on Sunday morning saying we couldn’t come to the island due to the water problem, however we checked with many people (and google) which confirmed the mayor said the water problem was resolved and tourists were allowed on the island. We had no reply from the hotel to confirm if it was ok to stay that evening. I asked Expedia to help and they couldn’t get in contact with the property either. We ended up booking an amazing air bnb to stay in as we were on the island with no confirmation from the hotel if we could stay. I eventually got a message from them at 2pm saying they were putting us up in a different hotel on the island? Very bizzare considering their response was that tourists were not allowed on the island due to water problems - which had been resolved so why are they putting us in a different hotel? I would avoid booking with this ‘hotel’ it seems to be a scam and we are waiting for our refund.
