Duty manager ‘upgraded’ us from original Premier Suite to Plaza suite. However, it wasn’t really an upgrade at the plaza suite was smaller than premier suite. Had to waste time changing rooms. Was told that bottle of wine would be sent to my room as my wife was celebrating her birthday, but it never came. Have been staying here for past few trips but service this time round was disappointing.

Staff was helpful with our luggage. The location of the hotel is convenient. It is next to Deoksugung Palace 덕수궁 and a few blocks away from Gyeongbokgung Palace. It is right across the street from city hall. This has the Seoul my soul sign. It can get noisy due to demonstrations. Plenty of restaurants, cages and convenient stores around. The train station is also on the same block.

The gymn was excellent so it was tbe spa, paying extra to use the spa was worthy. The buffet was excellent, bed was comfy. All the staff was very helpful. Location was perfect for my first time visiting Seoul by myself, I felt safe and walked everywhere. The hotel was very nice and modern plenty of olaces to eat nearby and shopping as well. Loyte food court was withing ealking dustance abd jas plenty of tasty pastries and food. .
