The room is decently big.The bathroom is updated at least. The door knob doesn't open or locks easy (they were aware of it even before) until we figured the technique to it. The air conditioning unit does not turn on at all even for a fan.

This is a small older motel that has done some upgrades. Room was ok for one evening. Room had a musty smell. There are many nicer places to stay in this area probably around the same rate. Bed was comfortable, the air conditioning unit looked rode hard and put away wet. Staff were friendly. If you are on a tight budget it will work for a. Short stay

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. We would stay again! AC is a bit noisy but I wear earplugs anyway. The trick to use the AC is to turn on the switch on the wall. Shower water temperature fluctuates so be ready to shift away when it goes very hot. Stayed 3 nights in room 22 at the back. Perfect location for peace & quiet. No street noise or cart noise when staff have to clean. Plenty of room for my dog to walk and do his business. They even provide doggy bags for you to pick up after your pup. A good variety of restaurants in the area to choose from. Close enough to downtown, farmers market and waterfront area.

The property overall was fine. The room was very clean and spacious. The parking was not the greatest and some of the people were tenants of the property, not guests.

Very tired looking. Room was not refreshed on second day. Had to go to the desk to get fresh towels. No replacement toilet roll. Very very noisy neighbours until 3 am both evenings. Overpriced for the standard

Basic motel just off Hwy 17. Use GPS to locate as it is hiding behind Catalina Motel. No carpet in main room, so take off shoes ASAP otherwise you get grit all over the room. Metro and Stacked pancake house nearby. Parking lot needs to be repaved as it has uneven surfaces. Clean room and bathroom. Toilet requires holding the flusher down a long time.

Bedroom and bath were spotlessly clean. Bed and bath linens very nice. Puffy pillows. Freshly painted walls. Basic amenities provided in the room ( bar fridge, coffee maker, mirror, hangers). However, the property needs a face lift. Doors, vanity & baseboards need to be replaced - all in run down condition. We stayed in unit 11 and it smelled musty. Hotels/ motels in SSM are expensive but paying 156.00 for this place was too much. We would not stay here again. Motel is in a good location … lots of restaurant choices nearby as well as gas stations and Tim’s and Starbucks.

Pleasantly surprised
When we originally pulled up ....things looked a bit dicey and we were originally concerned. People were sitting outside rooms smoking, drinking and it appeared they may live there. However...we were extremely pleased with our stay. The rooms (although not fancy) were exceptionally clean (and i really looked). The beds, pillows, linens and towels were very comfortable. Shower was excellent. We did not hear a peep from any neighbours. Overall fantastic!
