We have friends in Salt Lake and also Sandy. This hotel is the perfect in between. I can hop on 215 and be in SLC in 15 minutes. And I can jump on Wasatch and be in Pepperwood in less than 15. It's quiet, clean, and reasonably priced.

We had a wonderful stay at Courtyard Salt Lake City Cottonwood. The rooms were spotless, modern, and very comfortable. The location is perfect—close to the mountains, downtown, and lots of great dining options in the area. The Porcupine (our favourite) and 8 Settlers restaurants were recommended by hotel staff, and did not disappoint!
The pool area was relaxing and well-maintained. Breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of options and the made to order items were a nice bonus. Saturn at the breakfast bar —was incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond.
Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations with its clean facilities, great amenities, and especially its amazing staff. I’ll definitely be staying here again when I’m in Salt Lake City.

Expedia says the property doesn’t charge for parking but they do. The key system in the elevator is annoying. The staff at the bar are pretty unfriendly. The view at the property is beautiful and the ski decor was cute. Internet access available only if you joined the Marriott Club Rewards program.

The property was like new, and the room was nice and spacious (standard King). Free parking easy and accessible on site and REALLY close to mountains/ski runs. A few good restaurants closeby. The hot tub was definitely a perk after long days of hiking.
